SDAIA
The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) is the competent authority in the Kingdom concerned with data and AI including big data. SDAIA is also the national reference in all matters related to the organization, development, and handling of data and AI; in addition, it has the original competence in all matters related to operation, research, and innovation in the field of data and AI.

SDAIA Establishment
The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) was established by
Royal Order No. (A/471) issued on 29/12/1440 AH. Its headquarters is in Riyadh. SDAIA is directly linked to the Prime Minister; its sub-entities are National Data Management Office (NDMO), National Center for AI (NCAI), and National Information Center (NIC), all of which are organizationally linked to the Authority. The Authority shall have legal standing and financial and administrative independence.

Mission
Unlocking the value of data as a national asset to realize Vision 2030's aspirations by setting the national data and AI strategic direction and overseeing its implementation through data governance in addition to providing foresight and data-related capabilities and enhancing them through continuous innovation in the field of AI.
