The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the Institute of Public Administration have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) that aims at enhancing cooperation between the two entities. The memorandum targets several fields; training, applied studies, consultation, human resources development and organizational structures.
The MoC was signed in the presence of His Excellency SDAIA President, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al Ghamdi. SDAIA was represented by SDAIA Vice President, His Excellency Saleh bin Mohammad Alothaim, and the Institute of Public Administration was represented by His Excellency Director-General of Institute of the Public Administration, Dr. Mushabab Alqahtani.
The memorandum organizes experiences exchange in administrative development-related fields. It also includes cooperation in terms of conducting applied studies related to data and AI, providing consultations regarding organizational structures and manuals, reviewing administrative and financial regulations, and developing work procedures and practices. Further, the memorandum accounts for the preparation and implementation of data and AI-related training programs.
SDAIA and the Institute of Public Administration both affirmed that this MoC, which focuses on developing training and applied studies, came from their endeavor to enhance cross-sectoral integration and achieve Saudi Vision 2030’s goals.
