In order to be part of the decision-making process, SDAIA allows its website visitors to provide their best information and suggestions to improve work: believing in the importance of community participation through perceiving public opinions and ideas that serve some of the projects and initiatives adopted by SDAIA now and in the future prior to their approval and implementation.

E-Participation Policy

The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) pays great attention to e-participation service because it provides freedom of expression to citizens through various means of communication, guarantees their rights to express their opinions, and directs their suggestions to decision-makers.

SDAIA reviews all participations before publication to monitor alignment with the state law in this regard, support the highest levels of transparency, and improve dialogue between the two parties to achieve the desired goals.

The Authority emphasizes that it reserves the right to decide not to publish or delete participations based on the terms, conditions, and policiesor the general laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia without an obligation to explain to the other party. The Authority, its employees, or its representatives do not bear any responsibility for the consequences of publishing legally or ethically violating comments or remarks through its electronic means.

E-participation Guidelines and Gules:

Ensure that participation is aligned with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Present participation in clear language.

Present participation seriously, objectively, and briefly.

Refrain from publishing personal data such as names, contact details, and addresses.

Refrain from writing any offensive or immoral phrases.

Refrain from abusing the Authority's e-participation systems to negatively affect its performance, level of security, speed of response, or continuity.

Submit participation only once per user.

Stages of E-Participation in Decision-Making

First stage, broaching the subject:

SDAIA publishes the topics it presents to the target audience or the general public, and applies for electronic participation in decision-making through:

Second stage, collecting e-participations:

When broaching a subject, you can share your opinion in accordance with the rules and provisions mentioned below.

After the end of the specified period of participation, SDAIA will not accept participation regarding this topic.

Third stage, analyzing participations:

At this stage, participations are sorted and analyzed, and appropriate ones are used in decision-making and policy formulation.

Fourth stage, the announcement of the decision:

At this stage, the action taken is announced on the topic page, with appropriate responses to the most prominent posts as much as possible.
