General Department of Contracts and Procurement

The General Department of Contracts and Procurement at the Authority fulfills all the needs of SDAIA and its sub-entities (SDAIA+) by contracting with companies and entities to make the most of the available material resources.

The department follows up and implements annual procurement plans, concludes contracts, follows up on the award and contracting procedures, and manages the relationship with partners and beneficiaries inside and outside the Authority. Procurement procedures are carried out following the Government Tenders and Procurement Law and its Implementing Regulations.

The Department makes purchases (offering tenders and awards) through “Etimad” platform and makes purchases through the online market for the items listed.

Etimad Platform

Etimad is an online platform that aims to enhance partnerships between government entities, the private sector and individuals to achieve the targets of development projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accomplish digital transformation of services, enhance local content, increase the participation of SMEs in economic development, and raise the level of transparency and efficiency of spending.

The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) seeks to enhance cooperation with leading companies by building strategic relationships that meet the Authority's aspirations in terms of price competitiveness, quality of project outputs, and support of local content. The Authority also encourages vendors to grow and innovate through effective communication and the development of strategic relationships.
