Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) has a number of achievements in the field of AI that contributed to improving the lives and behaviors of individuals, making a healthier and more sustainable environment. For example, SDAIA provides products that replace traditional paper-based transactions with e-transactions, and one of those most prominent products is Nafath platform, which groups all e-transactions in one place, and offers unified central access to all service providers, whether government or private entities. This helped in going paperless and encouraging environmental sustainability, one of the strategic goals of Vision 2030 related to empowering society and ensuring a healthy and prosperous life.

Achieving environmental sustainability

The easiness of e-transactions reflects the robustness of the data infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SDAIA, represented by Tawakkalna, provides the digital wallet on Tawakkalna Services app and more than 140 services designed to address all areas of daily life for citizens and residents, complete the most important transactions of individuals using one app, facilitate travel procedures, and verify the health eligibility of travelers in real-time. The e-travel document, the Health Passport, will be approved globally in order to accelerate the achievement of Vision 2030’s development goals related to improving the life quality of citizens, residents, and visitors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.​
