Registration Extended for AI-Driven Productivity Enhancement Hackathon in Public and Private Sectors Until December 28

The AI-Driven Productivity Enhancement Hackathon for the Public and Private Sectors (Enjaz)  has announced an extension of its registration period until December 28, 2024. This extension aims to enable university and college students, programmers, developers, AI engineers, productivity innovators, and entrepreneurs, from within and outside the Kingdom, to participate and explore innovative AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and accelerate outcomes in these two development sectors.

The Hackathon offers participants a platform for creativity to develop actionable and effective solutions that enhance productivity in the public and private sectors. Such solutions will optimize processes, reduce time and costs, and foster collaborative approaches to support national productivity while focusing on AI applications that enhance institutional efficiency.

The Hackathon is divided into two main tracks : The first: AI for Enhancing Public Sector Productivity, and the second: AI for Enhancing Private Sector Productivity. The top 10 winning teams will be awarded financial prizes totaling SAR 1.5 million, with SAR 150,000 awarded to each winning team.

The Productivity Enhancement Hackathon reflects the collaborative efforts of government entities to strengthen cooperation in implementing national initiatives and projects, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The Hackathon is organized under the supervision of the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), Digital Government Authority, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Economy and Planning, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Ministry of Finance, Expenditure and Project Efficiency Authority, National Center for Government Resources Systems, and National Technology Development Program.
